The AI race

Shit’s piping up. Google CEO announced that the company is officially introducing their conversational AI service, Bard. That name is not very sexy. 

Trusted external testers will make sure its responses meet their bar for quality, safety, and groundedness. Then it should be more widely available in coming weeks. 

The AI race is very much underway in the public domain. When ChatGPT launched, there were a lot of commentators, and supposedly even Google management, saying that it's a code red for Google search.

Here are a few things to consider, because the instant gratification mindset I'm seeing is a little scary.
